Inbound Travel Group is the world’s leading destination management company for student travel. We partner with travel companies and educational organisations to design, deliver and manage experiential education programs around the world.
Consider us an extension of your company. You handle the sales, recruitment, pre-departure preparation and client communication. We handle the ground operations in your destinations. You send us the students and we run the programs using your branding. Our local teams become your local teams, and you reap the rewards of a global operations department.

Board of Directors
Inbound Travel Group is governed by an international board of directors. The board meets quarterly to review global operations, strategy, finance and compliance. Our current board of directors are:
Evan Wells – Director
Evan was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia before heading overseas at the age of 22 to commence building a career in international student travel and education. With his career development over the past 25+ years, Evan has lived and worked in the USA, The Fiji Islands and Australia. Combining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Queensland, Evan’s background in accounting and business development has enabled him to play an integral role in the successful operation of several companies within the international student travel field. With extensive industry knowledge, and international travel through more than 30 countries, Evan brings a mix of real world experience and business acumen to Inbound Travel Group’s board of directors. Evan lives on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with his wife and two sons.
Harry Alvarez – Director
Harry was born in New York City, and at six months old, relocated to his family’s native home in the Dominican Republic. Ever since then, he has lived in the cultural and physical space between the Dominican Republic and the United States, working in the sustainable travel industry in the Caribbean and Central America for over a decade, and leading and managing programming across Costa Rica, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba. He has built and launched student travel operations in the Dominican Republic and Cuba, and oversaw program operations in the United States. Harry splits his time between Santo Domingo, Havana, New Orleans, and Providence. When not personally participating in our clients’ experiences you can find him cooking or gardening with his son.
Ricardo Romero – Director
Ricardo has been working in ecotourism since he first served as a river guide while completing his degree in Business Administration at La Universidad de Costa Rica. He was part of Costa Rica’s 1998 National Rafting Team and participated in the whitewater rafting World Championships. In 2005, he changed gears and started his journey in experiential education. Ricardo is a calm, collected, and analytical operator who brings a unique and balanced perspective to the business operations to our team. Outside of work, Ricardo enjoys spending time with his wife and son on the beach, up in the mountains, or in the rivers of his native Costa Rica.
Sam Murray – Director
Australian born and raised in the Adelaide Hills, Sam followed his passions to forge a career in travel and experiential education. After completing tertiary degrees in education, he coordinated outdoor education programs in Victoria before his trajectory veered towards student travel, social impact and business development. His entrepreneurial spirit has led to the creation of sustainable travel programs and community service projects across Australia. He serves on the board of two charities in Australia while running multiple businesses, and brings almost two decades of industry experience to the board of Inbound Travel Group. Sam lives on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne with his wife and children.Corporate Structure
Our organisation is built upon a federal model, with a central entity that overseas our consortium of independently owned companies across the globe. Members of Inbound Travel Group must adhere to various articles of association, code of conduct and membership terms. Our global head office is located in Australia.
